Medical Mission Sisters have been connected with Project Hope for many years. This project serves the medical and social needs of the homeless population in Camden City. The City of Camden is the largest urban center in southern New Jersey and is ranked as one of the most economically depressed cities in the United States.
For the past thirteen years Project Hope has fulfilled its mission by assisting more than 11,000 homeless persons in their journey to permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
Project Hope is unique in that it is the only provider of medical services specifically for the homeless in that area.
